Frequently Asked Questions

Is client9.com for sale?

Sure! make me an offer.

Are you a "domainer"? Do you do this for a living?

No.

Why did you buy client9.com?

A friend pointed out the lead New York Times story a minute after it broke. In the original version, the identity "Client 9" was a mystery, although the article made it sound likely that it was Mr. Spitzer, and that this was going to be a Big Story. "Client Nine" sounded catchy and myterious so as a goof we picked up the domain.

What is the intention of the site?

None really. I'm not working on advocating or smearing Mr. Spitzer.

Who is the owner of this domain?

I'm a registered voter in New York City. I'm not a registered Republican or Democrat.

Why are there three different quotes from the New York Times

The New York Times is not a blog. Meaning, they update stories "in-place" over-writing old versions. In the original posting, Client 9, was mysterious. Later in the day the same story was updated a few times, intentifying Client 9 as Mr. Spitzer.

I am Apt 9

Yes I live in Apt 9 and own Client 9.
